You’re a good soldier
Choosing your battles
Pick yourself up
And dust yourself off
And back in the saddle
You’re on the front line
Everyone’s watching
You know it’s serious
We’re getting closer
This isn’t over
The pressure is on
You feel it
But you’ve got it all
Believe it
When you fall get up
Oh oh
And if you fall get up
eh eh
Tsamina mina
Zangalewa
Cuz this is Africa
Tsamina mina eh eh
Waka Waka eh eh

Spain reaches Finals for the 1st time as Germany clashes out by 1-0

Spain 1-0 Germany
As the match starts both the teams are keen to reach finals of the FIFA world cup 2010. But the strong hand seems to be on the German side.  As Germany's victory over Argentina, the Argentina's fans are getting rude over Germany and pray the god to loose the semi-finals over Spain.
Also the Octopus prediction is on the Spain's side.
The match starts with the crowd of thousand people in stadium. It seems tough ahead of the Spain's striker Fernando Tores and high goal scorer in the world cup 2010, David Villa.
In the 4th min, match stopped play due to fan runs in the field.
on 6th min, Great chance for Spain, Pedro slips a beautiful pass to David Villa whose shot from close range is blocked by goalkeeper Manuel Neuer.
While on the play, Spain have dominated possession so far, with Germany looking to exploit the counter attack.
On 31st mins, First good chance for Germany, as Trochowski tests Casillas from long range, and the Spanish goalkeeper is forced to make a diving save.
on 41st min, Iniesta collides with Boateng and Spain wins a free kick in a dangerous position down the right side. They try a set play, but German easily sniffs it out and clears.
Half time...
The drama is building in Durbin, as neither side can find a breakthrough. Spain looks much more likely to do so right now.
On 69th min, Great chance for Germany as Podolski's cross is met at the back post by Kroos, whose volley from close range is saved by Casillas.
On 73rd min, GOAL for Spain..... Spain wins a corner after some good work by Iniesta down the left side. Xavi's delivery is met by Carles Puyol with a powerful header into the back of the net.
Spain is 15 minutes away from the World Cup final as they lead by 1-0.
On 81st min, Villa shifted by Fernando Torres.
On 82nd min, Unbelievable.... Xavi springs Pedro with a clever pass and the Barca youngster only needs to square across to Torres for an easy finish to give a super lead to the game, but he makes a mess of the situation and doesn't even get a shot off himself.
This way the game is whistled by the Referee..
The match is taken by Spain to reach the World cup final first time in the previous world cup history..

Now the Spain play finals with Netherland on Sunday...

Dutch Concerned as Biggest Prize Looms

Dutch coach Bert Ban Marwijk has warned his players to keep theri feet on the ground and ignore the hype as they prepare for Tuesday's semi-final against Uruguay as firm favourites.
With expectations back in Holland building to a crescendo, Van Marwijk is keen to stress that with the biggest prize in world football at stake anything can happen. "It will be a very dangerous match. I warned about this in the first day two years ago - there's always the next game," he told reporters.
"The euphoria at home is massive and maybe it's good that we're so far away and can't witness it because we really need to focus  on Uruguay and that won't be easy. They didn't reach the semi-final for nothing, so we have to really focus again and not think that we're already there".
Both sides will be missing key playres for the Cape Town spectacle as a final looms against either Germany or Spain, but the statistics speaks for themselves. Under VAn Marwijk the Oranje have been one of the best performing teams in the world. They picked up eight wins from eight games in Qualifying and have a 100% record from their five games in South Africa, which includes sending Favourites Brazil packing.
Before the tournament, the glore years of Uruguayan football were a fast fading memory, with their last semi-final 40yrs ago and just two appearances in the last five World Cups.
But Under Oscar Tabarez, who also steered them to the last 16 in 1990 as coach, they have been rejuvenated and cannot be written off.
Uruguay though are handicapped by the loss of influential striker Luis Suarez, who misses the game after being red-carded for his deliberate goal-line handball that denied Ghana a famous Victory.
Defender Jorge ciro fucile is also suspended while skipper Diego Lugano and midfielder Nicolas Lodeiro are injury doubts, heaping even more pressure on Diego Forlan.
In the Dutch camp, Defender Gregory van der Wiel and midfielder Nigel de Jong miss out after picking up their second yellow cared against Brazil. But everyone else is fit, with Arjen Robben and Wesley Sneijder the danger men.

Germany Clashes Argentina by 4--0

Germany 4--0 Argentina
The argue between the PELE AND MARADONA is completely seems that they are the leading nations of the Football, but their Proud and their empty Jar without water comes into play and they both are out of this DREAM EVENT OF FOOTBALL i.e., WORLD CUP.
Anyway, they are the best football player in the world, no doubt in their session.

Good news for Argentina fans as Messi is fit and will join Higuain and Tevez upfront while Klose is the lone striker for Germany.
The world is watching the game with much excitement as who is taking thru to semi finals and who is returning back to home.
On the 3rd min of the game, Muller found the ball in the opponents goal post and turns it into the goal. Early of the game Germany leads by 1-0.
Argentina is seeking, seeking and seeking the goal, but no one finds the ball in the post and cannot turn it in the goal.
On 25th min, Mueller pulls the ball back expertly to Klose who sends his shot over the bar from 12 yards away! He should have scored there! Will that miss come back to haunt Germany?
This way, match move towards the half time and Germany is leading by 1--0.
After the halftime, Argentina loaded with the instructions from their coach, Diego Maradona, and back to game. but could not find the goal.
On 68th min, Germany double their advantage as Podolski knocks the ball across the face of goal and leaves Klose with a simple tap-in. The Germans will be hard to beat now. Now they lead by 2-0.
On 73rd min, Germany put the match to bed as Schweinsteiger waltzes through three defenders and pushes the ball into the path of Arne Friedrich who taps the ball into the empty net. Now it seems completely impossible to Argentina to get thru to semis. Germany leads by 3-0.
Outside the ground, Maradona, coach of Argentina, looks completely dejected and crashed by their players performances.
As the Play move on, still Germany is becoming heavy over Argentina.
On 88th min, it's a romp now as Oezil chips the ball to Klose who beats Romero from close range to rub more salt into the wounds of Diego Maradona's men. This 2nd goal of the Miroslav Klose, make the lead by 4--0 over the opponent and takes them to the semi-finals.

Now Germany gonna face Espain in the Semi-Finals.

Uruguay wins Ghana by 4-3 in Penalty shootout

Uruguay 4-2 Ghana (Penalty shootout)
The one and only representative of Africa, GHANA, started up with lots of hope in the  Soccer city stadium, Johannesberg.
Both team are searching for the goal and a way to find out thru Semi-Final.
Tempers are starting to flare as Fucile just received a yellow card in 20th min for fouling Muntari. Fucile will miss the team's next match if they advance.
If Ghana are to advance, they will need to concentrate better. They are making countless errors on defense and Kingston won't be able to stop every shot.
Uruguay have had six corners already, this is a very dangerous team on set pieces.
The Black Stars are starting to get their fans into the game. The crowd and vuvuzelas have gotten louder each minute.  Ghana is starting to look more cohesive on offense. Gyan had a beautiful strike that almost went in.

There is a lot of mind games being played as Ghana's players are making fun of Uruguay's consistent flops.
GOAL, Muntari scores an unbelievable goal. The shot must have been from at least 35 yards out. Now Ghana takes the lead in the 45+2 min of added time by 1-0.
The crowd cheers and celebrating till the half time.. The cheering moment for Ghana not remains longer. Exactly after10 min with the start of from half time, GOAL by  Diego Forlan Corazo at 55 min. This game isn't short of dramatic moments. Forlan strikes a beautiful curling free kick past Kingston.
Here the match is drawn, by 1-1.
This match is really starting to open up as both teams are starting to round into form. Uruguay hasn't come back in World Cup match to win since 1966. This could be another classic game.
Back to back opportunities from both teams. This game has been going at a relentless pace.
Alright everyone, looks like this one is going into extra time!! Should be two more exciting 15 minute periods and possibly even a nailbitting round of penalties.
Same happens in the last. The Extra time added, in the last minute of the game there is a sure goal from Ghana, but the striker of the Uruguay, Luis Suarez, reflected it with his left hand and gets a RED CARD and sent him out the ground. Also Ghana gets the penalty in the last min of the extra time. Every body is cheering for the Ghana and the AFRICA.
But the time is not in their's side, Asamoah Gyan misses the Penalty. Finally the match is turned to the Penalty shootout.
Muslera, the Uruguay's goalkeeper, saves 2 penalty and gives the victory for Uruguay.
Uruguay wins Ghana by 4-2. Also enters in the final 4 of the championship.

Netherland Knocks Brazil by 2-1

Netherland 2-1 Brazil.

The match starts chills with the Brazilian fans in the houseful stadium. In the early minutes of the game, there is a chance on Brazilian side, but there is a offside. After few mins, on 10min, Robinho found the fantastic pass and converted it to the goal. Now Brazil leads by 1-0.
Previously it looks so simple to the Brazil, that they will easily take the match to their side. 1st half ends with Brazilian lead.
On 2nd half, there is a turning point, the cross of the Sneijder, a Netherland Striker, converted it in the post by Brazilian defender Felipe Melo as OWN GOAL in 53rd min. Now the match is drawn by 1-1.
As time moves on, the match seems to the Netherland side. Luck is on the Netherlands side. The play from the Brazilian side is not seems what say FAIRPLAY. This match must move on the Netherlands side.
On the 67th min, Wesley Sneijder found heading the ball to the goal post. Now it seems Netherland is gonna rocking on the stadium as they are taken lead by 2-1.

The extremes of the UNFAIR play comes into play as the Frustated Felipe Melo sent out of the ground by showing RED CARD on 73 min. Felipe Melo stomps on Robben while he is on the ground and is shown a red card. Not exactly the mental fortitude you would expect from a Brazilian squad. Robben is really getting under the skin of the Brazilian players.
Now the Brazilian team squeezed from the 11th to the 10th player squad. Now its seems impossible to the Brazilian to move on their dream as they are in the semi finals. The Brazilian players shouted over the Netherland players as they committed foul and make player fall on the ground.  This makes to be very frightening for Netherland in the final 10mins of the game.
As the game moves on, everyone is crossing the finger, as it should move on the Netherlands side, and there should not be the goal from the Brazilian side.
Finally, the same happens, No further goal won by both the teams, and Netherland knocks Brazil to enter in the Semi Finals, by 2-1 lead.

Goal Drought Hits Superstars

Lionel Messi, Cristiano Ronaldo, Wayne Rooney, Kaka

Superstars have failed to deliver goals at the 2010 World Cup with Kaka, Lionel Messi, Cristiano Ronaldo  and Wayne Rooney managing just on between them.
And that came softly to Ronaldo three minutes from time in Cape Town as Portugal tore hapless North Korea to shreds in the most one- sided match.
Rooney flew home with his disgraced England teammates after failing to score in four matches and maintaining a sad record of never netting at the showcase of internationalfootball.

Brazil midfielder Kaka came to South Africa after months of thigh - injury concerns and instead of celebrationf his goals was sent off against the Ivory Coast.
Argenitna coach Diego Maradona has junped ot the defence of Messi, who has dome just about everything except score as his team stormed into the last eight with 10-goal haul. "As soon as Messi gets the ball they want to kick him. It is a scandal", complained 1986 world cup winner Maradona who knows a thing or two about rough treatment from his won playing days.
Rooney and Ronaldo have been the biggest diasppointments with Portugal also out off the contention after losing anIberian derby against Spain in Cape Town to a David Villa goal. "I feel a broken man, disconsolate, frustated and an unimaginable sadness," confessed the Portugese captian after a match in which his continuous apeal for free kicks were ignored.
Ronaldo showed little of the menace Real Madrid valued at 94m euros when they lured hi from Manchester United with his once lethal free kicks barely troubling Spain. He also offered little encouragement to teammates after so engrossed in his personal misery that lifting sinking morale was not a priority.

But Ronaldo was not conceded a millimetre in post match comments: "I am the captain of Portugal and I have always assumed and will assume my responsibilities," he snapped.

Coach Dunga wants goals from Kaka not yellow and red cards with another caution against Chile placing him in danger of a further suspension with the quarter-finals kicking off on friday. "The technical footvallers are being punished at this World cup and those who commit fouls are no," moaned the 1994 World Cup-winning captain and midfield enforcer Dunga.
