Barack Obama visited on Opening Day Ceremony of World Cup 2010

Bloedmfontein (South Africa), June 23 on the day after the semi-final line -up was dramatically set at the confederations cup, South Africa took a deep breath and FIFA President Sepp Blatter rebvealed that US President Barach Obama may attend the opening ceremony of the world cup next year.

Obama, whose father was born in Kenya, had never visited Africa as the leader of the free world.

Blatter also again told the media that South Africa would be ready to host the world cup, "there is no doubt," he said the day after the US and Brazil joined Spain and the hosts in the last four.
